Skoda has recently unveiled its all-new all-electric SUV. The electric SUV – Skoda Elroq – will be taking the place of Skoda’s Karoq, which is the brand’s model lineup overseas. Elroq will be the second-ever electric vehicle launched by Skoda Auto. the company has plans to launch four more all-electric vehicles to be revealed by the year 2026.

Skoda Elroq will be powered by a 77 kWh battery pack. It will be delivering a driving range of approximately 480 km on a single battery charge.
The carmaker also has plans to introduce larger battery packs by the next year for its electric vehicles. The next electric battery pack is expected to be 86 kWh. First, it will be delivered with Enyaq iV And then it will be followed by Elroq electric SUV. It is estimated that with an 86 kWh battery pack, the electric SUV range will be increased to approximately 600 km.
Skoda Elroq has a new MODERN SOLID design language. It will be the first SUV by the carmaker, which will be having its latest design language. The key feature elements of the SUV include its rugged front fascia, solid off-roader profile, and two big skid plates – one at the front and another at the rear. The SUV has raised wheels arches, which look flared.
The Elroq is approximately 4.5 meters long, which includes some parts of the exterior dimensions and its spacious interiors. It is estimated to be priced at approximately 25000 euros for the entry-level model. Skoda Auto has made the entry-level model more affordable and accessible.
As shared earlier Skoda Auto will be launching four more new electric vehicles by the year 2026. The carmaker has already unveiled Elroq, which is followed by the launch of the Enyaq iV SUV. Including all, the company will be launching a total of six electric vehicle offerings.
It is estimated that Skoda will be revealing the coupe electric vehicle by the year 2024 and then a compact crossover by the year 2025.
Skoda Auto has invested a total of 5.6 billion euros in the electrification of automobiles. The carmaker revealed that Elroq will be available in 4 different models with names Small, Compact, Combi, and Space. The electric SUV will be using the MEB (Modular Electrification Platform), which is developed by Volkswagen Group.
Skoda Auto is on the path of making electric vehicles more affordable and accessible for people across the world. The unveiling of Elroq will pave the base for other Electric Vehicles by the brand. As the company has invested heavily in electric vehicles, It is expected that the company will be delivering the latest technologies to increase the bar of company offerings in the EV market.
