The objective of the collaboration of EvGateway and Regeny is to provide advanced fast charging EV solutions in UAE and MENA (Middle East Markets). The partnership is to provide Turnkey EV charging solutions for the region.
With these EV charging solutions, consumers in UAE and Middle East Markets will be enabled to set up their personal EV charging points and their infrastructure. The EV charging point would be supporting a range of AC (Alternate Current) and DCFC (Direct Current Fast Charging). It is included with technology to manage the charging point.
As per the 2022 data, electric vehicles are increasing by 30 percent in the region of UAE. Electric Vehicles are currently the fastest growing in UAE automotive market.
What is the current EV trend in UAE?
As more and more automotive brands are launching and unveiling their luxurious cars in the EV segment, consumers in UAE are getting attracted to the EV and local demand for EVs is rising.
Considering the rise of EVs, it is expected that UAE will be having approximately 42,000 electric vehicles on the roads by the year 2030. As per the survey, 44 percent of resident automobile consumers will be preferring to move from fossil-fueled vehicles to electrically powered vehicles to reduce the carbon emissions in the country.
